Sigur Rós (Icelandic: Victory Rose) is an Icelandic band that was founded in 1994 in Reykjavík. Sigur Rós-music is slow, solemn, epic, far - almost a cliché postcard for the ears of their Icelandic homeland, but yet to uncheesy manner.
